Upload Images
In SliceVault, image upload is an essential step for adding study data into the system. Upload is typically performed by Investigators, but in some cases Quality Control Managers may also perform uploads - for example, if a site provides study data outside of SliceVault (e.g., on CD or DVD).
All data uploaded into SliceVault goes through a local de-identification process in the user’s browser before it is transferred. This ensures that sensitive Personal Health Information (PHI) is removed in compliance with study requirements, without leaving the investigator’s computer in unprotected form.
