Upload Un-Redacted Data
The Upload Un-Redacted Data add-on feature provides a controlled pathway to place files in SliceVault without any processing or de-identification. Use this only when strictly necessary.
Important
- Files uploaded via this route are not de-identified.
- Files uploaded via this route are not viewable in the SliceVault DICOM viewer.
- Access is role-restricted** and the feature must be explicitly enabled per study.
How to Upload Un-Redacted Data
- Start Data import using the standard upload procedure. Select the appropriate visit to get to the select files step. Below the dropzone, click the link to access the Un-Redacted Upload feature.
Note: If you do not see the link, the feature is not enabled for this study or you do not have the required role.
- Drag and drop your files into the dropzone.
- Select the visit you want to attach the files to.
- Click Upload.
When to Use
Typical scenarios:
Troubleshooting
If SliceVault does not accept or handle specific study images correctly, upload the source files un-redacted so the technical support team can investigate.
Related study documentation / non-conforming files
Upload study documents or other data files that do not conform to the pre-configured image/modality rules (e.g., invalid transfer syntax UID, non-DICOM files) for storage and review.
Note: Functionality is available only in studies where the feature is enabled as part of the project configuration.
