Intelligent Quality Assist

The Intelligent Quality Assist add-one feature provides automated support to Quality Control Managers during image review. It is designed to highlight potential issues in uploaded imaging studies alongside the manual QC process, helping QC managers work more efficiently and consistently.

The module is available directly in the DICOM Viewer, displayed in the left-hand panel. Results from the checks are presented alongside the images, making it easy to compare automated findings with their own visual inspection.

What the Module Checks

The exact checks available will depend on the study configuration — not all checks are enabled for every project. Examples of checks include:

• Contrast use (contrast / no contrast)
• Correct phase of IV contrast (early / late)
• Oral contrast detection
• Inclusion of expected anatomical regions (e.g., head, chest, abdomen, pelvis)
• Verification that follow-up studies belong to the same subject as screening
• Data duplication (detecting previously uploaded studies)
• Modality verification
• Slice thickness consistency
• Missing slices

Note: Functionality is available only in studies where the feature is enabled as part of the project configuration.
