Reader Blinding
The Reader Blinding add-on feature is used to hide critical contextual information from readers during their assessments. This ensures that readers focus solely on the imaging data itself, without being influenced by details such as where the data was collected or when it was acquired.
Types of Blinding
Site Blinding
With site blinding enabled, the name of the site that submitted the data is hidden from the reader. This prevents potential bias based on site reputation, size, or location, ensuring the assessment is made strictly on the basis of the images provided.
Visit Blinding
With visit blinding enabled, the visit name is hidden from the reader. This ensures that the reader does not know at which point in the study timeline the data was collected (e.g., baseline, follow-up, or end of trial). By removing this context, the assessment remains focused on the imaging findings rather than the expected progression of disease or treatment response.
Note: Functionality is available only in studies where the feature is enabled as part of the project configuration.
